Sometimes, We Can't Do This Alone

Fostering a dog helps us a lot. Temporary fostering a RESQUS’ dog for 2 months in your home makes all the difference. It’s just in the meantime while we connect to a family that will adopt him. 

We are always by your side, communicating with you all the time. We cover all the dog’s expenses like food and veterinary protocols like vaccines, neutering, or spaying. We arrange with you the best hours to schedule the vet’s appointments, and we take care of picking him up and dropping him off at your home. Sometimes vets will go to your place if they are available. 

Our team rescue dogs in Mexico City, Los Cabos, and Cancun, so those are almost always the locations where we need some kind of foster homes. We don’t like to move dogs to other places unless they travel to their forever homes. 

If I live with my dogs, can I foster one of RESQUS’ dogs?

Yes, you can. We’ll ask you some questions about your lifestyle and daily routine to see what kind of dog is ideal for you. 

We always have our vet protocol running some tests to verify that the dog is healthy and can go to a foster with other dogs. 

If a dog is under medical treatment and can’t be in touch with other dogs, we ask for a foster home without other dogs. We cover all the expenses of the medical treatment he or she needs to have.
